W Exhibition trade fair postponed to May 2024

The W Exhibition trade fair, which was to be held on 24-27 September in Birmingham (Great Britain), has been postponed to 19-22 May 2024. The Montgomery Group, which is responsible for organising the furniture supply fair, explained that the postponement announced on 13 February was due to a relaunch as well as new appointments to the organisational team of the fair. Previously, David Todd had been appointed to succeed Nickie West as event director. Ranju Singh has taken over the position of commercial manager. W Exhibition will thus take place almost six years after it was last held in early October 2018, when 180 exhibitors occupied an area of 20,000 m². According to the organiser, 9,237 visitors attended the event in 2018. Already at the end of November 2021, Montgomery Group had explained that the trade fair, originally scheduled for 6-9 February 2022, had to be postponed to the September date due to the corona crisis and related restrictions. Previously, in January 2021, the trade fair originally planned for September 2021 had been postponed to the February date.

Concerning the wood and furniture supply fair sector, in addition to W Exhibition, the Montgomery Group is organising the Surface Design Show scheduled for 6 to 08 February 2024 at the Business Design Centre in London.
