Covid-related restrictions have led organisers to postpone two more supplier fairs in South America. The Interzum Bogotá, which was actually slated to happen in Bogota, Columbia from 2 to 5 February, was cancelled by its organisers Koelnmesse and Corferias Bogotá back in December. The biannual fair is next set to take place from 10 to 13 May 2022.
The Fimma Brasil in Bento Gonçalves, which is slated to run from 26 to 29 April, will not take place this year, either, according to a press release published on 13 January. The Brazilian furniture association Associação das Indústrias de Móveis do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (Movergs) has not set a new date yet. The Movelsul fair, which alternates with the Fimma Brasil and is organised by Indústrias do Mobiliário de Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis), was supposed to happen from 16 to 19 March. This fair had first been postponed until 14 to 19 September but was cancelled a short time beforehand. The next Movelsul is now pencilled in for March 2022.
