USNR: Söderhamn Eriksson disappearing as brand name

US Natural Resources (USNR) will only be appearing on the market under the name of „USNR” in future. Roughly three years after the takeover of Swedish Söderhamn Eriksson, this marks the end of the joint market presence as USNR/Söderhamn Eriksson. According to information from USNR, the purpose of the new brand image is to communicate the company’s uniform structure to customers.

Söderhamn Eriksson had already been renamed USNR AB in mid-March. The subsidiary in Germany has been trading under the name of USNR GmbH since the beginning of April. Johan Olof Johansson is registered as managing director of both companies. Sales executive for German-speaking Europe is Eckart Müller. Besides his duties for USNR, Müller remains active in the used-machine business through his own company CTR Holztechnik.
USNR’s business activities will also be split into five core divisions in future: „Lumber manufacturing”, „Veneer & plywood manufacturing”, „Scanning, optimization & controls”, „Press equipment”, and „Engineered wood & secondary mfg”. Each of these is further subdivided into different application. USNR currently maintains ten facilities in North America, and nine in Europe and Russia.
