Turkish WPM fair to be rebranded as Woodtech

The Wood Processing Machinery (WPM) trade fair, which is held annually together with the Intermob supplier fair in Istanbul, will be rebranded as Woodtech. Next year, the double trade fair will be organised as Intermob/Woodtech from 12 to 16 October by the trade fair company Reed Tüyap in cooperation with the Turkish Woodworking Machinery Association AIMSAD and the Association of Turkish Furniture Suppliers MAKSDER.

According to Reed Tüyap, 76,271 visitors were registered at this year's IMOB/WPM; this represents an increase of 2% over the previous year. The number of visitors coming from abroad rose by an above-average 8 % to 9,684. 857 companies from 35 countries presented themselves on an exhibition area of 52,300 m².
