Stockfish becomes new CEO of Weyerhaeuser

Effective January 1, 2019, Devin Stockfish will succeed Doyle Simons as CEO of Weyerhaeuser. Simons, who took over the position of CEO in August 2013, will continue to work for the company as a senior consultant until his retirement on 1 April next year. Stockfish has been Senior Vice President, Timberlands since January 2018. Previously, he was Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary and Vice President Western Timberlands. Prior to joining Weyerhaeuser, he was Vice President & Associate General Counsel at Univar, a US chemicals distributor specializing in mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance and securities law. Previously, he was a lawyer in the legal department of Starbucks Corporation and practiced corporate law at K&L Gates.

In the course of the appointment of Stockfish there will be further personnel changes at Weyerhaeuser. Adrian Blocker will also take up the position of Senior Vice President Timberlands at the beginning of next year. Blocker has headed the Wood Products division as Senior Vice President since early 2015. Keith O'Rear, who was also appointed Senior Vice President Wood Products with effect from January 1, will be responsible for these tasks. O'Rear is currently Vice President, Wood Products Sales and Marketing.
