Segezha issues bonds in amount of 100bn RUB

Russian Segezha Group issued bonds in the amount of 100bn RUB (roughly equivalent to 1.4bn €) at the end of last year. The unlimited, registration-free borrowing programme was announced on the Moscow stock exchange on 25 December and has a term of up to ten years. According to information from president and chairman of the board, Mikhail Shamolin, the purpose of the bonds is to diversify the financing structure of Segezha Group.

The quarterly report published by the superordinate company AFK Sistema of Moscow shows that Segezha’s debts at the end of the third quarter were 2.3 % lower than a year earlier at 38bn RUB.
