Increase in results achieved by MM-Holz in 2017

07.05.2018 −

Austrian Mayr-Melnhof Holz raised the sales revenue generated in its business year 2017 by 4.1 % above the year before to 553.9m €. This restored sales revenue to the level of 2015 (559m €) and 2014 (555m €) in spite of the reduced number of consolidated enterprises.

According to information from Richard Stralz, chairman of the board at MM-Holz, a marked improvement was achieved in EBT, which at 55.6m € was almost 10 % higher than a year earlier; the EBT margin correspondingly reached 10.1 %. The renewed increase in EBT perpetuated the company’s continuous upward development of the last few years into 2017. The positive course of business also enabled the group to reduce its liabilities and raise the equity ratio to what was last 41.8 %.
