Homag sets new order intake record

24.11.2017 −

Homag Group delivered a 12.9% improvement in order intake to €345.4m between July and September after experiencing growth of more than 30% in each of the first two quarters. Order intake was also higher than the second quarter’s sum of €332.6m, but not quite as strong as the first quarter’s sum of €400.9m. Homag Group has booked consistent growth in revenues in the year to date. A total of €296.1m in the first quarter and €300.6m in the second quarter were followed by revenues of €304.7m between July and September. Revenues were hence 9.8% higher than the same period last year.

Homag Group set a new order intake record of €1.079bn in the first nine months of this year. This represented a 25.8% upturn compared with the same stretch last year. Homag experienced strong growth in all major regions, with a particularly large upswing in orders from China. A key growth driver was continued brisk demand from the furniture industry for complete production lines with a high level of automation and batch-size-1 capability.
