18.02.2019 −

In the 2018 financial year timber trade cooperation HolzLand achieved a centrally invoiced net purchasing volume (centrally invoiced turnover) of some €835m. By comparison with unadjusted turnover of €818m, which was published in February 2018, a 2.1% turnover increase ensues. HolzLand indicates an increase of some 3.5% concerning turnover for 2017, adjusted to account for membership cancellations (€806m).

According to managing director Andreas Ridder, in 2018 export activities also predominantly developed along positive lines. An adjusted turnover increase of some 6.1% means export business increased at a higher rate than total turnover. Turnover increased by 9.2% in Austria, by 4.9% in Italy and by 4.0% in Switzerland. Compared to 2017 centrally invoiced turnover on the German market rose by some 2.9%.
