Growth in sales revenue of all Hal companies

The companies in the wood, surfaces, and furniture industries controlled by the investment company Hal Holding all increased their sales revenue in their business year 2018. Broadview, in which Hal Holding has a 97.4 % stake, increased its sales revenue by 23.5 % to 552m € and operating result to 54m €.
Timber and Building Supplies Holland (TABS Holland) raised its sales revenue by 6.7 % to 720m € and the operating result rose to 49m €. Hal Holding holds 78.1 % of the shares in the timber and builders’ merchant, which had a total of 1,508 employees in 103 branches at the end of 2018.

Sales revenue generated by the office-furniture manufacturer Koninklijke Ahrend was lifted 1.3 % above the figure for a year earlier at 315m €. In doing so, the company achieved a positive operating result of 7m € again after a slightly negative figure the year before. Since 2017, Hal Holding has held all the shares in the Ahrend group, which comprises the subdivisions Ahrend Office Furniture, Gispen, Roels Spaces, Presikhaaf Schoolmeubelen, and Techo and had a total of 1,605 employees at the end of 2018.
