German-Timber-Company taken over by Canadian WCE

Canadian Western Coast Enterprise (WCE) acquired 75 % of the shares in German-Timber-Company GmbH (GTC) from Schuster-Holz-Team, on 30 March. 25 % is held by Ruschen Cetinköprülü, who will remain at the helm of GTC. WCE director Jerry Mi has taken over the management of GTC in the framework of the deal; GTC’s domicile has simultaneously been moved from Birstein to Aschaffenburg.

GTC exports European and Norther American hardwood and softwood logs and timber to the Arabian countries and East Asia. Adil Fareed is in charge of sales for GTC in the Gulf States. GTC will continue to sell softwood timber of the Bien Holz group to East Asia as before. In the United Arab Emirates, softwood timber produced by the Bien Holz group is distributed by a different export com-pany.
