Fermacell was renamed James Hardie Europe

14.01.2019 −

James Hardie, a manufacturer of façade claddings and tile support panels made of fibre cement listed on the Australian stock exchange, has renamed Fermacell GmbH, which was taken over from the building materials manufacturer Xella International in the second quarter of 2018, as James Hardie Europe GmbH. The headquarters of the new company, which was entered in the commercial register for the first time in December, is located in Düsseldorf.

James Hardie Europe will be represented for the first time with its own stand at this week's Bau trade fair in Munich. In addition to façade elements of the "HardiePlank" and "HardiePanel" brands, Fermacell products and innovations from the drywall construction sector as well as fire protection solutions marketed under the name "Fermacell Aestuver" will also be presented there.
