Domotex in Hanover to be cancelled after all

Following the decision in mid-October to reduce the number of halls to three (11, 12 and 13), the Domotex floor coverings trade fair, planned for 13 to 16 January in Hanover, now has to be cancelled altogether. Deutsche Messe justifies the decision taken on 22 November with the renewed intensification of the corona crisis and the resulting restrictions on international travel. It is possible that the trade fair will be held at a later date during the course of 2022. Domotex Asia/Chinafloor (DACF) - which was postponed to the period from 31 August to 2 September last year due to the corona crisis and was held again as scheduled this year from 24 to 26 March - will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai-Hongqiao from 25 to 27 May due to the Winter Olympics scheduled for February 2022 in Beijing.

Domotex was last held in Hanover from 10 to 13 January 2020. Last year, the fair - which had actually been scheduled for 15 to 18 January - was initially postponed to May and then cancelled in mid-January. The Domotex Digital Day event, planned as a replacement, was also withdrawn.
