Danzer increased revenues by 6.5% in 2017

Danzer booked revenues of €210m in 2017, an upswing of 6.5%. The company has reported revenues for entities in Europe and North America alone for the first time. Financials for Swiss Danzer entity Interholco and specialises in African tropical timber, are reported separately.

As things currently stand, Interholco will likely not release revenue figures until 2019 when its sustainability report is slated for publication. However, a potential sharp drop in revenues had looked likely at the end of 2017, which was caused by factors including problems with timber harvesting and transportation in the Republic of Congo.
The separate designation of Interholco figures is also the reason for a discrepancy with revenues reported for 2016. While Danzer had reported revenues of €188m from its activities in Europe and North America last year, the latest publication puts them at €197m in 2017. This difference is due to a change in the allocation of domestic revenues between Interholco and Danzer.
