Exposicam, organiser of the furniture supplier fair Sicam, still assumes that the event will be held as planned in Pordenone, Italy from 12 to 15 October. According to a statement issued on 16 July 2021, approximately 500 exhibitors have booked a stand so far. The regularly updated list of exhibitors, accessible via the internet, currently includes around 135 foreign companies. After the mid-June 2020 cancellation of last year’s event due to the corona crisis, by autumn 2020 425 companies had already pre-booked a stand; 126 of these were foreign companies. According to the current list of exhibitors, a relatively large number of companies from the wood-based panels sector are to be represented at Sicam.
At the most recent Sicam - which had been held from 15 to 18 October 2019 - more than 600 exhibitors had once again taken part on an exhibition area of around 16,500 m² in ten buildings. An exact visitor number was not stated. According to Exposicam, 27% of the exhibitors and 31% of the visitors came from abroad.
