On 20 July, following further losses in the Construction division, the board of directors at New Zealand Fletcher Building dismissed CEO Mark Adamson, who had held that position since October 2012. Francisco Irazusta, who since the first quarter of 2016 has been CEO of the International division, which comprises the laminate producer Formica, the wood-based-panel producer Laminex and Roof Tile Group, also took over management of the whole concern as interim CEO with effect from 24 July. Fletcher Building has already started the selection process for a new CEO.
