Deutsche Messe has now decided to bring forward the new date for the Domotex flooring fair by two days. This came after a decision was made in late August to postpone the event, which usually happens in January, to May. The fair would have run into the Whitsun weekend on its initial timing from 20 to 22 May. These plans were called into question by exhibitors in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, in particular. Instead of running from Thursday to Saturday, Domotex will now happen from Tuesday 18 May to Thursday 20 May. The flooring fair will thus set up stands almost immediately after the Ligna, which is slated to happen from 10 to 14 May next year. The venue will thus only have three full days to tear down the Ligna stands and set up for the Domotex.
