2021 forestry trade fair in Lucerne cancelled

The cancellation of the international forestry trade fair, scheduled to take place in Lucerne (Switzerland) from 26 to 29 August, means that the last of the relevant European trade fairs for forest technology planned for 2021 will also not take place. Instead of postponing the trade fair, Organiser ZT Fachmessen decided to hold the next forestry trade fair from 24 to 27 August 2023.

The ZT Fachmessen decision to cancel the event is in line with the decisions concerning other central European forestry trade fairs. The Forstexpo of the KWF Focus Days in Schwarzenborn (Hesse) will also not take place before the next regular date from 19 to 22 June 2024. Also to be held on the next regular date is the annual Forst live in Offenburg from 8 to 10 April 2022. The new date for the demo forestry trade fair DLG Waldtage, held every two years, is 9 to 11 September 2022. The première of the Swedish Forestry Expo in Solvalla has been postponed to 28 to 30 April 2022. The demo forestry trade fair Elmia Wood, instead of being held as planned from 18 to 21 May 2021, has also been rescheduled to take place in Bratteborg (Småland) from 2 to 4 June next year.
