Turnover growth for Forte on domestic market only

Turnover of Polish Fabryki Mebli Forte increased on the domestic market only in the third quarter. As shown in the final figures for the current reporting period published on 26 November, turnover on the Polish domestic market increased at a double-digit rate of 18.3% compared to last year to PLN53.4m. Export turnover, in contrast, decreased by 8.9% to PLN202.9m. Total turnover decreased by 4.3% to PLN256.3m. The export rate, accordingly, declined to 79%.

Accumulated over the first nine months, turnover generated abroad increased by 3.4% to PLN663.2m and the export rate fell to 81.9%. Domestic turnover, in contrast, increased by one quarter to PLN146.6m. In the accumulated period, total turnover increased marginally by 0.7% to PLN809.8m. The decline in the third quarter contrasted with increases of 0.5% in the first quarter and 6.4% in the second quarter. External particleboard sales generated PLN13.8m in the nine-month period. Of this figure, PLN8.2m was generated in the third quarter.
