Kika/Leiner has credit insurance again after takeover

26.06.2018 −

After the Signa Holding of real estate investor René Benko signed the contracts for the purchase of the Kika/Leiner Group, which belongs to the Steinhoff Group, at the end of last week, the Austrian furniture retailer has now also taken out credit insurance again. As Kika/Leiner announced yesterday, appropriate contracts were signed with the commercial credit insurer euro delkredere. According to Kika/Leiner Managing Director Dr. Gunnar George, the orderly business relationships with suppliers can thus be resumed. George also sees the conclusion of the new contracts as a further step towards securing the company's future in the long term.

Credit insurer Euler Hermes withdrew from Kika/Leiner at the beginning of June and has not covered any bad debts for Kika/Leiner suppliers since then.
