Nobia quarterly turnover up only in northern Europe

In the fourth quarter, Nobia generated total turnover of SEK3.509bn, representing a 2% increase vis à vis the comparative period of the previous year. The company recorded turnover decreases in two of its three business divisions. The only increase was recorded in the Nordic business division, where turnover rose by 12% to SEK1.974bn. Within the division, the markets in Denmark and Sweden in particular developed along positive lines.

For the UK business division Nobia recorded a 10% decrease in turnover to SEK1.172bn. Adjusted to account for turnover generated with Benchmarx Kitchen & Joinery, division turnover was 8% below the previous year’s figure. The business relationship with Benchmarx was terminated. Nobia did not indicate any specific reasons for this step.
Turnover generated in the Central Europe business division in the fourth quarter decreased by 4% to SEK363m. Nobia attributes the decline to reasons such as high figures recorded the preceding year which could not be reached in the reporting period. Additionally, business was partly affected by corona-related restrictions. The Central Europe division consolidates ewe Küchen and Bribus Holding.
Key results figures at group level improved. EBIT increased by 58% to SEK238m. Profit after financial items rose by 42% to SEK203m and profit after tax by almost two-thirds to SEK146m.
