Masonite takes over DW3 group for roughly 70m £

23.02.2018 −

US-American Masonite International has taken over DW3 Products Holding Limited (DW3), a group of companies operating in the windows and doors sector. According to a release published on 30 January, all the shares held by the previous owner, the British investment company NorthEdge Capital LLP have now been transferred to Masonite within the scope of the transaction. The purchase price is quoted as around 70m £.

DW3 was founded as a holding company in November 2014, which initially comprised the Solidor group, with its affiliates Solidor and Nice Door Panels. This was followed by the acquisitions of the two window companies Window Widgets and Eclectic Systems in April 2015. DW3 currently has a total of some 300 employees in Stoke-on-Trent and Gloucester, generating sales revenue of roughly 45m £ in the business year 2017.
