Mannington Mills invests US$22m in LVT production

19.03.2020 −

US flooring group Mannington Mills plans to expand the production location in Calhoun (Georgia), which is focused, for example, on production of luxury vinyl tiles (LVT). This will be the third expansion within a period of two years. The company has purchased a 4.3ha plot adjacent to the current premises. According to a statement made by the Georgia Department of Economic Development, some US$22m are to be invested in the production expansion. 268 new jobs will be created as a result of the investment.

LVT activities of Mannington Mills expanded significantly in connection with the takeover of Amtico International, which was concluded in the first quarter of 2012. Subsequently the company doubled its production capacities at the LVT plan in Madison (Georgia).
