Kährs issues bond to amount of roughly SEK1.45bn

Kährs Holding issued a bond to the total amount of SEK1.45bn, roughly equivalent to €140.4m, on 24 November. The funds obtained through the bond are to be used for funding future investment projects, including expansion measures outside northern Europe. The senior collateralised bond subject to sustainability criteria has a term of five years and is to be listed on the open market of the Frankfurt stock exchange and Nasdaq Stockholm. The investment banks DNB Bank, Nordea Bank, and Pareto Securities were appointed joint bookrunners.

Owing to the conditions of the bond, Kährs is also introducing a public reporting system again. After a corporate bond with a term until 2017 was issued in two steps in December 2012 and in mid-March 2014, the company had already been listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm between October 2013 and August 2015 and also published regular business reports during this period. Even after the early redemption of the bond in August 2015, Kährs had initially continued to report on business figures. The quarterly reports were discontinued in mid-2018, however.
