Inwido expands capacity at Vetlanda window plant

28.10.2019 −

Elitfönster, which belongs to Inwido, is to install a new planing machine at its Vetlanda plant. Within the scope of the replacement investment, which at a total volume of SEK55m - equivalent to €5.1m - is the largest single investment in the company’s history, production capacity is to be increased. Assembly of the machine is to commence in the first quarter of 2020, and commissioning is scheduled for the summer period.

In addition to capacity expansion, production flexibility is also to be increased. According to Elitfönster, economical production of smaller quantities in various sizes and finishes is possible on the new machine. The quality of window production is also to be improved by means of modernising the equipment.
