Inwido achieves record figures in second quarter

In the second quarter Inwido increased turnover by 16.9% to SEK2.009bn. This means the group achieved quarterly turnover of more than SEK2bn for the first time. The increase was mainly due to organic growth (+19%). The takeover of Metallityö Välimäki (MV Center) also made a small contribution to the increase to a small extent (+1%). A negative effect on turnover development ensued from unfavourable currency effects.

According to company information, Inwido also recorded peak figures for orders in hand as well as results. In the period covered by the report, incoming orders rose by around 32% compared to the previous year. As of the end of the quarter, orders in hand amounted to SEK2.029bn, representing an increase of 61% or 55% adjusted to account for the acquisition effect. The operative EBITA improved by 32.2% to SEK267m; the margin calculated on this basis consequently rose to 13.3%. The EBIT increased by 37.0% to SEK259m. Pre-tax profit and net profit also improved considerably at SEK242m and SEK191m respectively.
