Aurelius concludes Unilux takeover in mid-November

Aurelius Equity Opportunities has acquired window and front door manufacturer Unilux via a carve-out deal with effect from 17 November. The transaction was thus concluded around one month after it was announced. Aurelius and previous Unilux owner Dovista signed the purchase agreement on 12 October. Aurelius intends to concentrate on the growth potential in Unilux’s premium segment, both in the area of windows and doors made from wood and wood-aluminium and in products made of plastic. In addition, Unilux’s sales organisation is to be strengthened. The company employs approximately 300 persons in Salmtal and generated turnover of around €40m in 2020.

The Dovista Group, which belongs to VKR Holding, had acquired Unilux within the scope of the 1 September takeover of the Weru Group. According to the company, the decision to resell was only taken after the closing.
