NALFA elects new leadership team

Members of the North American Laminate Flooring Association (NALFA) have elected Barbara Ellenberg June, general counsel at Swiss Krono LLC as the association’s new president. The elections, held at the Fall Meeting in Asheville, North Carolina, in late October, mean that NALFA has a woman at its helm for the first time since its establishment in the mid-1990s. Ms Ellenberg June has been a member of the NALFA’s leadership team since 2013, and last served as CFO.

She replaces Dan Natkin, who became president in January 2017. Mr Natkin had been a member of the leadership team since 2010 but stepped down after joining the North American distribution team for Bauwerk Group from Mannington Mills in early October. He replaced Bill Dearing as president, who had led NALFA since its inception and passed away on 24 October 2016. Tom Wright (Mohawk Industries) was re-elected as vice-president and treasurer at this year’s Falling Meeting. He took over this position from Roger Farabee (Mohawk Industries) in January. Dennis Bradway (Mannington Mills), who has held a variety of positions within NALFA since the late 1990s, is its corporate secretary. His past roles include vice-chair of the Technical Committee.
