VPK and Klingele make offers for Stracel paper mill

UPM-Kymmene has started exclusive negotiations with the joint venture formed by a company from the VPK Packaging Group and Klingele Papierwerke on the sale of assets of the French paper mill Stracel. The takeover offer is subject to the approval of the banks involved in Stracel‘s loans. Negotiations with employees‘ representatives are to be concluded in the second half of the year.
