Swiss firm Pellets du Jura raising production capacity
The Swiss pellet manufacturer Pellet du Jura commissioned new pellet manufacturing machinery in early April 2012. The project involved a fundamental overhaul of a pellet plant that the subsidiary of the Swiss hardwood sawmill Corbat Holding commissioned in 2008. The dryer was the only piece of machinery that was still in use. Following the project, the plant is using PelletModul ZM technology from the Swiss machinery firm ZM-Technik für Holz. This unit combines size-reduction technology, cooling systems and a press supplied by the Dutch manufacturer CPM Europe. ZM-Technik modified the press so that it can primarily use hardwood.
