Finsa sales revenue up in spite of divestments

According to provisional information, the Spanish wood-based panel manufacturer Finsa raised its sales revenue by 6.4% in its business year 2011 to €812m in spite of numerous stoppages. In doing so, the company recorded growth for the second year in succession; after the slump of 28% to €725m in 2009, sales revenue rose again by 5.2% in 2010. The company is still a long way from matching the record figure of €1.191bn achieved in 2007, however.
