Finsa makes further adjustments in Galicia
29.03.2012 −
According to a variety of reports in Spanish newspapers Finsa concluded the negotiations on another “Expediente de Regulación de Empleo” (ERE) for a total of some 650 employees in the Galician works in Santiago de Compostela, Padrón, Rábade, and Ourense at the end of January. The agreed adjustment measures, that include alternating lay-offs of up to 125 days, became effective in February and will run for a period of five months. Roughly 50 employees in administration and production management are not affected by the action and will continue to work as normal. Finsa says the new job cuts are due to persisting reduction in sales volumes and revenues.
