Pfleiderer‘s Nidda MDF works closed down on 30 June

Pfleiderer discontinued production at the Nidda MDF works trading under the name of Pfleiderer Holzwerkstoffe Nidda on 30 June 2011 as scheduled. A corresponding decision had already been made at the beginning of November 2010. According to Michael Wolff, managing director of Pfleiderer’s “Westeuropa” business centre, Pfleiderer has already commenced talks with workers’ and union representatives on a reconciliation of interests for the 140 employees affected by the closure.
