Keitele to double its laminated wood capacity

The Finnish Keitele Group is expanding its existing laminated wood plant to include a second press line. The installation of the line is to take place during summer 2013. As a consequence of the expansion the former production capacity of the plant is to be increased two-fold to approximately 200,000m³ per annum. Furthermore Keitele is to install a third lamellas dryer, in order to respond to the increase in the requirement for dry lamellas. The existing laminated wood plant, commissioned in 2005 is JAS-certified and designed for the production of Japanese beams.
