Varioboard machinery to be dismantled by end of June

Work to dismantle an MDF/HDF production facility run by Varioboard that permanently closed at the start of May 2011 got underway on 26 March 2012. Around 260 fitters are currently working at the site in the port of Magdeburg; their number is expected to climb to about 350 in the next few weeks. Disassembly is to be largely wrapped up by the end of June. Packing and delivering the components will likely take the entire third quarter.
