Metsä starts coating plywood with thermoplastics
12.04.2012 −
Metsäliitto, which was recently renamed Metsä Group, added spruce plywood coated with thermoplastics to its collection at the start of 2012. A similar birch plywood product is to become available from August or September once ongoing tests with selected customers have been wrapped up. The company invested around €5m to add capacity to its refining plant in Suolahti for both product lines, above all in the past year.
