Kronospan Switzerland is to invest about CHF80m in a new particleboard line and a new office building in Menznau, Switzerland over the next two years. Construction work on the new office building began last year. The seven-floor building is to be completed by the first quarter of 2016. Kronospan Switzerland’s administrative staff will occupy six floors and will move in some time in February or March. A new exhibition room will also be created there. The remaining floor is to house Swiss Krono Group’s research and development activities, which have so far been split across a number of sites.
