China: Quality issues with plywood imports

A longstanding debate among German import merchants regarding the quality and declaration of plywood imports from China has intensified again over the past few months. A larger number of too thin plywood panels and products with lower-quality filming and gluing are apparently surfacing again more often. Import merchants feel that the quality issues are to be attributed to both importers and manufacturers.
