Spano increases varnishing capacity by buying B&M
The Belgian company Spano Group. N.V. acquired all shares in the refining company B&M S.A. with effect from 5 February 2012. The two sides put pen to paper on 3 February. B&M had a staff of 14 and generated revenues of approximately €3.2m last year. Spano will absorb all of its employees. Raoul Vancrabeekx will stay on as sales director, with Jan Dhondt remaining in charge of production. Spano added B&M’s activities to its Wood Coating Solutions business unit, which has run a varnishing plant at the Oostrozebeke headquarters for a few years.
