In the second quarter, higher delivery figures, a modified product mix and lower round-wood prices boosted the EBIT in the Wood Products division at Stora Enso by 43.5% to €33m, generating an EBIT margin of 7.6%. Following growth of 37% in the fourth quarter of 2015 and of 6.7% in the first quarter of 2016, this means that the EBIT has increased year on year for the third quarter in succession. Deliveries in the reporting period totalled 1.274m m³ of lumber and wood products, representing a year-on-year rise of roughly 11.6%. Turnover, at €433m, was down by 1.8% year on year.
