Hardwood sawmill Tombers Hartholz files for bankruptcy

Tombers Hartholz, the Rhineland-Palatinate hardwood sawmill with facilities for further processing to laminated panels and sections, filed for bankruptcy on 25 April 2012. The lawyer Hans-Albrecht Brauer from Daun was appointed as the provisional administrator. According to Tombers Hartholz, the cancellation of orders from two Asian key clients in the autumn of 2011 had resulted in a liquidity bottleneck which was no longer tolerated by the banks.
