First details of plans for US sawmill for Klausner

Klausner Holding USA, which is the US-American subsidiary of the German Klausner Group, is planning to build a large sawmill in the vicinity of Live Oak in Suwannee County in North Florida. According to the application documentation, the plant is to boast annual lumber-production capacity when fully completed of 700 MMBF (Million Board Feet of timber) on two separate sawing lines; this is equivalent to a lumber volume of approximately 2.6m m³/year. No details of the investment amount were released.
