Lignia wood currently under test in several application areas

Following start-up of Lignia sliced-veneer production at the site of Fortified Timber Systems in the autumn of 2011 and the conclusion of the test process for its use in exterior applications, Lignia timber, which is manufactured in a chemical modification process, is currently undergoing tests in Germany for several application areas. FFT’s parent company Fibre 7 UK had already concluded an agreement for Lignia timber in February 2012 with the veneer processor Hobb . In addition, Lignia is now undergoing tests in worktop and furniture production, flooring manufacture and in the window-scantling and decking sectors.
