Alno increases turnover by 9% in first quarter
According to provisional figures, the Alno concern showed growth in turnover in the first quarter of 2012 of 9% to €118.6m. Domestic revenues were up by 9.2% to €86.6m and foreign revenues increased by 10.1% to €31.2m. "Other Turnover" accounted for a further €0.8m. The highest growth among concern brands was achieved by the Alno brand, with an increase of 23.5% to €26.9m, after preceding years had shown significant decline. The EBITDA in the first quarter, at €2.3m, was back in the black, while the EBIT, at minus €1.7m, remained in the red. No details were given by the concern in its ad hoc notice of 17 April regarding the period result.
