1.9m cabinets produced by Alno in Germany

Alno Group, according to the business report published on 31 March, manufactured some 1.9m kitchen cabinets at the three German locations of Pfullendorf, Enger and Coswig in 2015. The comparative figure for 2014 was 2.5m, including the cabinets produced at the plant of Impuls Küchen, which was sold to the Steinhoff Group in June 2015. Excluding Brilon, this figure amounted to some 1.8m cabinets.

Output of Alno’s parent plant in Pfullendorf, at which the kitchen brands Alno, Tielsa and Piatti are produced - sometimes on a double shift operation basis -, increased last year by almost 26% to 432,000 cabinets. This increase is primarily due to the transfer of production of Piatti kitchens from the Swiss Dietlikon location to Pfullendorf. This move took place in the second half of 2014. Piatti was part of Swiss AFG Küchen, which was taken over in January 2014 and subsequently renamed AFP Küchen.
