Södra taking over parquet manufacturer Berg & Berg

Södra is taking over the Swedish parquet manufacturer Berg & Berg through its Södra Interiör business division. The transaction will close with effect from 1 February. The sellers are the two company founders and CEOs Jan Söderberg and Ulf Palmberg and four minority shareholders. Berg & Berg had for a long time been looking for a strategic investor with whom corporate activities could be expanded. Until recently the company had also been negotiating with interested parties from the European parquet industry.
