EU: Parquet imports increase further in 2011

Eurostat reports that imports of parquet into the European Union last year were up again, by a little more than 9% to 24.667m m². 2010 had already seen imports increase by almost 6% after 2008 and 2009 had shown significant declines in each case. Parquet deliveries from countries outside the EU have still not reached the import volume of 30.336m m² achieved in 2007.
