EPLF members book decline in global deliveries

23.01.2013 −

The 22 regular members of the European Producers of Laminate Flooring (EPLF) association suffered another 1.8% drop in global deliveries to 459.6m m² last year. 2011 had been even worse with a 3.9% fall from 2010’s level of 486.7m m². This latest downturn means that sales volumes are now below the level recorded in 2008. At that time, EPLF members sold 462.4m m² laminate flooring (-8.9%) around the globe; 2009 was even worse with a 4.3% decline to 442.6m m². The current record of 507.4m m² was set in 2007.
